Partnerships and Development Manager

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid/in-person as needed)

Hours: (25-30 hours/week)

Position Overview:

Seattle Angels is seeking a dynamic Partnerships and Development Manager to grow our visibility, partnerships, and community-based fundraising efforts. This role combines relationship building, event coordination, and strategic outreach to local businesses and supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Partnerships & Community Engagement

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with local businesses and corporate partners

• Develop and maintain a prospect list of potential sponsors

• Conduct outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings

• Represent Seattle Angels at community events, networking opportunities, and partner meetings

• Build long-term relationships with sponsors and business supporters

Event Planning & Execution

• Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and community events

• Manage event logistics: vendors, venues, timelines, procurement, and volunteer coordination

• Support sponsorship fulfillment and ensure partners receive promised recognition

• Identify opportunities for new fundraising and community engagement events

Corporate Sponsorship Outreach

• Assist in identifying and approaching potential event sponsors

• Support sponsorship outreach and follow-ups

• Maintain sponsor relationships and ensure proper recognition at events

Visibility & Community Outreach

• Increase Seattle Angels’ presence within the Seattle business community

• Identify speaking opportunities, networking events, and partnership collaborations

• Build relationships with organizations to expand Seattle Angels’ reach

• Generate marketing materials related to events and business partnerships

Administrative & Prospecting Support

• Maintain prospect lists and partnership tracking

• Document outreach and relationship notes in the donor database (Neon and Google Sheets)

• Provide on-site support at fundraising events, the annual picnic, and community gatherings

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or corporate partnerships

• Strong relationship-building, networking, and communication skills

• Experience planning and executing events

• Proficiency with CRM tools (Neon, Salesforce, or similar) and Microsoft/Google Suite

• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects with limited supervision
