What we do:

At Equilibrium Press, we explore controversial topics—such as deportation or tax increases—by presenting both sides of the debate. Our goal is to give individuals the tools to make informed decisions about their political stances, their votes, and the way they choose to live their lives.

Candidates will:

  • Select multiple topics and present one side of each debate.
  • Regularly update their assigned pages with new information.
  • Engage with members of the debate to gather insights.
  • Submit a weekly email report to their supervisor summarizing research and progress.

This role is designed to be accessible to a wide range of people, ensuring that diverse perspectives are represented in our work.

Requirements:

  • Must be a high school student or older
  • Strong interest in political speech and debate
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • This is a non-paid volunteer opportunity
