Political Canvasser – Detroit Mayoral Campaign
We’re hiring passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Detroit Mayoral Campaign Field Team as a canvasser. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in your community and help shape the future of Detroit.
Start Date: October 10, 2025
Project End Date: November 4, 2025
Pay Rate: $23.50/hour
Schedule: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with Detroit residents through door-to-door canvassing.
- Communicate campaign messages clearly and respectfully to voters.
- Collect and record voter information accurately using the MiniVAN system.
- Report daily metrics and feedback to field supervisors.
- Represent the campaign professionally and positively in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Experience using the MiniVAN or other voter contact software.
- Must be tech-savvy, reliable, and comfortable using a smartphone or tablet.
- Able to walk long distances and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personable, enthusiastic, and passionate about Detroit and its future.
