We are looking for a Research Analyst to join our talented political team for the 2026 election season with employment through mid-November. It is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and deepen insights into the realm of political media. Compensation is based on an annualized salary of $50,000, prorated for the duration of the seasonal term, and a retention bonus is offered to employees who remain through the end of the seasonal term. Please note that this seasonal position is not eligible for company benefits. 


As Research Analyst (Seasonal), you will report to the Product Manager and be part of a talented and driven team dedicated to working in a highly collaborative and open environment delivering advertising insights to our customers. You are responsible for collecting, cleaning, and organizing political spend data for client reports and products. This position requires an affinity for working with data, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.  

The impact you will make:  

 

Research & Product: 

  • Gather, analyze, and visualize relevant data from several external sources. 
  • Conduct spending and electoral research on behalf of our clients.  
  • Perform necessary quality control measures to ensure highest standard of data is delivered in our products.  
  • Perform other duties as needed to assist with projects and company initiatives.  

 

Leadership & Communication 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Accounts to align expectations.  
  • Raise awareness of data or product issues that could have customer impact.  

 

What makes you successful: 

  • Maintaining data collection levels to ensure products and data insights are relevant and timely. 
  • Mitigating delays and roadblocks by communicating production issues early and with urgency.  

 

Requirements: 

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a social science or other related field and 0-2 years of work experience.  
  • Knowledge or interest in politics, particularly regarding elections and the electoral process.  
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in the context of data-related tasks.   
  • Strong writing and communication skills. 
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Excel is required.  
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work well individually and as part of a team, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced work environment.
