Job Description
The Office of Congressman Tom Suozzi (NY-03) is seeking a Fall 2026 Press and Digital Intern to assist the communications team. Duties include compiling press clips, developing social media content, editing videos, drafting talking points and press releases, maintaining press lists, and assisting the team with various projects as needed.
The ideal candidate is an adaptable and proactive self-starter with great attention to detail and experience with media monitoring, video editing, and/or graphic design tools (ex: Critical Mention, Final Cut Pro, Canva).
This is a paid internship geared toward college students and recent college graduates. Hours are generally 9:00am to 6:00pm on voting days and 9:00am to 5:00pm on non-voting days. Hours and dates can be flexible to accommodate students’ course schedules.
Preference will be given to candidates who apply by Monday, August 3rd.
