Senator Ron Wyden’s Washington, DC, office is looking for students or recent graduates interested in a fall 2024 press internship. Ideal candidates will have strong writing skills, be detail-oriented, and show enthusiasm to learn in a fast-paced environment – with a demonstrated interest in press or digital communications. Responsibilities include compiling clips, updating press lists, monitoring media, and drafting or editing various public-facing materials. In addition, the intern will occasionally support Chairman Wyden and the Senate Finance Committee (majority staff) with press operations. Oregon/Pacific Northwest ties are a plus.
