Job Description
The Program Coordinator provides programmatic development and management support for various civil legal aid grant programs.
Responsibilities:
Assist Director of Special Programs with overall development, implementation, and evaluation of grant programs, including but not limited to the Access to Counsel in Eviction program, Judicare program, and Affordable Life, Wills, and Estate Planning for Seniors program.
Apply best practices in nonprofit program development and evaluation.
Use data-driven insights to inform continuous program improvement.
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including funders, courts, public agencies, legal services providers, outreach and education providers, and other community partners to inform programmatic implementation.
Perform outreach to key constituencies, convene stakeholders, and coordinate other program functions as needed.
Participate in and support various workgroups and committees.
Qualifications:
Level of education/experience: Six years of corporate or nonprofit experience. Post high school training or higher education may be substituted for up to 4 years of experience.
Commitment to access to justice and familiarity with Maryland’s civil legal aid system required.
Demonstrated experience working in partnerships and/or coalitions.
Significant experience with/in Excel required.
Significant experience with/in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, and databases preferred.
Strong organization skills required, including ability to prioritize and quickly respond to evolving needs.
Strong communication skills required.
Strong attention to detail required, including comfort working with large sets of numbers.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team required.
Comfort with technology and working in a hybrid environment required.
