The Programs Department Intern supports the planning, coordination, and evaluation of organizational programs and initiatives. This internship offers hands‑on experience in program operations, community engagement, data tracking, and cross‑departmental collaboration. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, implementation, and day‑to‑day operations of programs and events
- Support program staff with scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation
- Help collect, organize, and analyze program data, surveys, and feedback
- Maintain program records, reports, and documentation
- Communicate with participants, partners, and internal teams as needed
- Conduct research to support program development, improvement, or expansion
- Provide administrative support, including meeting notes, tracking deliverables, and follow‑ups
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for program enhancement
- Exposure to program planning and lifecycle management
- Experience working with community partners and stakeholders
- Skill development in organization, communication, and data analysis
- Insight into nonprofit or mission‑based organizational operations
- Professional mentorship and feedback from program staff
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in public administration, nonprofit management, social sciences, education, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail‑oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
- Interest in program management, community engagement, or nonprofit work
- Experience with data tracking, surveys, or reporting tools
- Familiarity with project management software or CRM systems
- Multilingual skills (a plus, if relevant)
