About the team:

The External Affairs and Community (XAC) team is focused on adding another dimension as to why people turn to Robinhood: our mission, our commitment to expand financial access, and our positive force to transform lives around the world. Through innovative ideas, meaningful engagements, good deeds, and strong partner relationships, we aim to drive inclusivity in the financial sector.

About the role:

We are looking for a Program Manager to develop and drive high-impact programs across the XAC team! As a new function at Robinhood, you will be joining during a formative period and will have the opportunity to build something new by creating innovative systems to support, track, and maintain all XAC workflows in the long and near term. Our Program Manager will play an integral role in leading our company-wide planning efforts, including enabling Robinhood to set and achieve ambitious, measurable goals with OKRs (Objectives, Key Results). Additionally you will facilitate cross-functional initiatives and projects to ensure that teams work in a coordinated, efficient, and focused way.

All XAC team members lead with integrity, interact with kindness, and deliver with diligence. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a great teammate who drives positive, cross-functional collaboration; an independent contributor with thorough precision; flexible and able to adapt to the growing and changing needs of the business; and have the ability to help build sustainable, scalable practices that lead to an effective team.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Scale and optimize XAC and company OKR systems & processes to help teams score, set, and share their OKRs during quarterly and biannual planning cycles
  • Own and maintain team planning resources (project trackers, calendars, dashboards) to ensure clarity and consistency across team goals and long-term projects
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Brand, Communications, Marketing, Government Affairs, Legal/Compliance, Growth Partnerships, and others to facilitate OKRs and other company-wide processes
  • Manage programs for cross-cutting, months-long operational improvement projects that will drive efficiency and success in our engagements
  • Develop practices to promote visibility to better share the team's work and priorities internally
  • Draft concise, strategic background documents and slide decks on quick turnarounds

About you:

  • Passionate about Robinhood’s efforts to expand financial access for all
  • Sharp ability to look around the corner and take strategic actions preemptively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a close attention to detail
  • Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced and virtual environment
  • Low ego and proven team player who takes creative initiatives and works collaboratively
  • Eager to learn about new and emerging technologies
  • Self-starter and ambitious learner who is comfortable with ambiguity

We’re looking for more growth-minded and collaborative people to be a part of our journey in democratizing finance for all. If you’re ready to give 100% in helping us achieve our mission—we’d love to have you apply even if you feel unsure about whether you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Robinhood, we're looking for people invigorated by our mission, values, and drive to change the world, not just those who simply check off all the boxes.

Robinhood promotes diversity and provides equal opportunity for all applicants and employees. We are dedicated to building a company that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We believe that the more inclusive we are, the better our work (and work environment) will be for everyone. Additionally, Robinhood provides reasonable accommodations for candidates on request and respects applicants' privacy rights. Robinhood's benefits include generous time off, 401(k) participation with employer match, comprehensive health coverage, a health savings account (HSA), wellness benefits, backup childcare and education stipends (all benefits are subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility).
