Job Description
The organization seeks a Regulatory Counsel to support its legal and regulatory strategy for a U.S. exchange and clearing organization regulated by the CFTC. This role involves advising on the Commodity Exchange Act and related regulations, engaging with regulators, and analyzing legal issues pertaining to prediction markets. Key responsibilities include drafting regulatory filings, negotiating agreements, and monitoring regulatory developments. The ideal candidate will have a J.D., active bar membership, and 3-6 years of relevant experience in derivatives or financial market regulation. The position is based in New York City with a salary range of $180,000 to $250,000 annually.
