Democratic Ranking Member of the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee seeking qualified candidates to support work on science, manufacturing, technology, and innovation policy issues, including those handled by the Office of Science Technology Policy, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the National Science Foundation, and other Department of Commerce offices. Responsibilities include keeping abreast of legislative and policy developments, researching and drafting memoranda, and providing administration support to Committee professional staff. The candidate will also be responsible for answering phone calls, greeting front office visitors, and scheduling stakeholder meetings. Ideal candidates are highly organized, motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Prior Hill experience is a plus.
