The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association (DLGA) is the official campaign committee dedicated to supporting and electing Democratic Lt. Governors. Democratic Lt. Governors are the bench of the Democratic Party, and are the most diverse group of elected officials in the country—with over 85% of Democratic Lt. Governors being women or people of color. The DLGA supports the Democratic nominees for Lt. Governor, and incumbent Democratic Lt. Governors in their re-elections or runs for higher office through a variety of services. 


The DLGA is seeking highly qualified Campaign Managers to lead these key races. We work directly with both incumbents and candidates and will be forwarding strong resumes to campaigns as staffing needs open up. These roles are expected to be full-time positions based in the respective states.

Job Requirements and Skills:


  • Significant campaign experience—at least two full cycles—ideally including time in a senior, department-level leadership role
  • Proven ability to design and manage a comprehensive campaign budget covering paid communications, staffing, and voter contact programs
  • Background in overseeing a candidate, senior and junior staff, and a full consulting team across both in-person and remote environments
  • Experience collaborating with a Finance Director to maintain strong cash-flow practices and disciplined budgeting
  • Willingness to relocate to the state for the duration of the campaign
