Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen (CO-07) seeks an experienced Scheduler based in her Washington, DC office. The role is critical to the office’s operations and is not an entry-level position. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple projects at once, follow through on requests, have a strong attention to detail, and communicate well with team members and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a willingness to work non-traditional hours when required. Capitol Hill or other relevant scheduling experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with the Member, Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, Communications Director, and District Director to maintain the Congresswoman’s daily and long-term schedule in D.C. and Colorado
  • Responding to all incoming meeting, event, and scheduling requests  
  • Coordinating travel like plane tickets, rental cars, and lodging reservations for the Congresswoman and occasionally staff members
  • Managing the Staff Assistant and daily operations of the front office, including the hiring process for interns 
  • Managing the receipts process for office purchases and helping file reimbursements for the Congresswoman 
  • Communicating key information and scheduling changes to the Member, staff, and affected stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assisting the Chief of Staff with office operations  
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary will be commensurate with experience. The range for this job is $80,000-$90,000.
