The Office of Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented team-player to serve in the position of Scheduler in his Washington, D.C. office.
Responsibilities include working with the Member, Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, and District Director to maintain the Congressman’s daily and long-term schedule in New Hampshire and DC; evaluating and addressing all meeting requests and invitations promptly; keeping the Congressman on schedule throughout the day; working with staff to ensure the Congressman is prepared for events and meetings; coordinating all office travel arrangements; and helping coordinate and manage several facets of the front office. The scheduler keeps the Member and staff informed of any changes in the schedule throughout the day via text and prompt emails; processes incoming scheduling requests and conflicts; and briefs the Congressman and DC and District staff regularly.
This position is critical to the office’s operations and is not an entry-level opportunity. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to prioritize and follow through on time-sensitive requests, multitask effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and provide strong attention to detail. This position requires availability outside of regular business hours and access to a car. New Hampshire ties with Hill experience is preferred.
