Overview
SKDK, an award-winning public affairs and political advertising agency, is seeking a Senior Associate or Director, Paid Media to join its paid media team for the 2024 campaign season. Candidates should understand the process and tactical requirements needed to execute effective paid media campaigns on behalf of Democratic candidates and progressive organizations.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing the paid media process from start to finish including:
- Drafting briefs and content for the creative team;
- Working with media buyers, printers and targeting/modeling vendors to develop targeted campaigns across all mediums
- Ensuring client and legal approval and accuracy of final product.
- Overseeing execution of media placement and helping to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinating TV, radio and photo shoots with our production department; ensuring they meet the creative needs.
- Tracking expenses, billing clients, working with vendors to deliver on time and on budget paid campaigns.
- Supporting pitch teams on research, deck creation and meeting preparation.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of communications and/or management experience on political campaigns, on Capitol Hill, with political organizations or at advertising firms.
- Experience with paid media campaigns for political campaigns or political organizations.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines in tandem.
- A willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary (campaign hours).
- A team player who works well with a diverse team
Benefits
SKDK is committed to pay equity. SKDK believes the target range of base compensation in this role is $60,000-$75,000. In addition to base salary, SKDK considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual base compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and location.
