Georgia Youth Justice Coalition seeks a full-time Senior Development Manager to build and grow a grassroots and individual donor program that brings new supporters into our community and fuels our civic engagement work across Georgia.

About the Position
As the Senior Development Manager, you will work directly with the Deputy Executive Director of Development and Narrative, youth staff, and youth volunteers to build an individual and digital fundraising program that can scale and sustain our work. The ideal candidate for the role is a systems person who approaches relationship-building with the same discipline and care they bring to database management and donor acknowledgement. They are a donor organizer, project manager, and confident communicator who understands that every conversation is an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship that can open doors to new resources. They believe fundraising is organizing, connecting supporters to a larger vision and ensuring our base has the resources to win meaningful change for young Georgians.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage call time program, including donor research, pledge tracking, and follow up.
- Cultivate and grow a pipeline of individual and grassroots donors through consistent and meaningful outreach, acknowledgement, stewardship, and engagement.
- Support major donor engagement through preparation of briefing materials.
- Lead coordination of successful fundraising events, including host committee recruitment, event materials and logistics, and follow through after the event.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in EveryAction and ActBlue.
- Develop and execute digital fundraising campaigns, including email and SMS.
- Knock doors, make calls, and high traffic canvass to reinforce our theory of change and translate meaningful community stories into compelling donor outreach.

Qualifications
- Have at least 2 cycles of paid campaign experience or two years of non-profit experience with at least one cycle or one year of management experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EveryAction and ActBlue required for this role.
- Culturally competent in building and maintaining relationships across lines of difference such as race, class, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and flexibility with a willingness to meet and exceed goals, implement feedback, and problem-solve effectively.
- Strong commitment to progressive values and to do the work that needs to be done.
- Have a driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
Working at the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition
This is a full-time, permanent position that reports to the Deputy Executive Director of Development and Narrative. Car travel within the state of Georgia will be required 15-20% for general execution of the role. We offer a generous benefits package which includes unlimited PTO; professional development stipend; and insurance plans for health, dental, and vision. Applicants must live in or be willing to relocate to Georgia for this in person role.
Salary: $67,000 - $78,000 based on experience
