🚨 We’re Hiring: Senior Director of Development
📍 Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) | 💼 Full-time | 💰 $105K–$115K + Benefits
North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT) and NCAAT in Action are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser to help lead the next chapter of Asian American civic engagement and political power-building in North Carolina.
This senior leadership role will oversee fundraising strategy across both organizations — including foundation partnerships, major donor cultivation, grant writing, stewardship systems, and long-term development planning. Success in this role looks like building sustainable revenue streams, deepening donor relationships, and helping scale the impact of one of the South’s fastest-growing Asian American organizations.
You’ll work closely with organizational leadership, program staff, board members, and national partners to help grow a movement rooted in civic participation, leadership development, and community power.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and implement organization-wide fundraising strategy
• Write compelling grants and steward foundation relationships
• Grow individual donor and sustainer programs
• Oversee fundraising events, including NCAAT’s 10-year anniversary gala
• Manage grant reporting, budgets, and development systems
• Represent NCAAT/NCAATIA at conferences, convenings, and funder meetings
• Support board fundraising engagement and stewardship
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and storytelling skills
• Experience managing complex projects, budgets, and competing priorities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communities
• Passion for civic engagement, equity, and community-centered work
