We’re looking for a hands-on Social Media Team Lead to drive high-impact digital storytelling, advocacy, and campaign execution in support of humanitarian aid for Ukraine. This role leads social media strategy and execution across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, while supporting a broader, multi-channel marketing approach that includes email, web, fundraising campaigns, and advocacy moments. Social media is the primary distribution channel, but success is measured by real outcomes—traffic, conversions, and campaign impact—not just engagement. What we are looking for: ✔ 5–7 years of experience in social media or digital content roles. ✔ Experience managing contributors, volunteers, or contractors. ✔ Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect social performance to business and campaign outcomes. ✔ Excellent writing, editing, and content planning skills. ✔ High cultural intelligence and sound judgment in crisis or sensitive contexts. ✔ English fluency required; Ukrainian language skills are a strong plus. What you will do: ✔ Plan, create, and publish high-quality content across all major social platforms. ✔ Execute integrated campaigns tied to fundraising, advocacy, and awareness goals. ✔ Repurpose content across email, website updates, and campaign assets. ✔ Monitor Ukraine-related developments and platform trends to deliver timely, relevant content. ✔ Own performance tracking and reporting using Google Analytics, native insights, and social management tools. ✔ Deliver monthly and campaign-level reports with clear insights and optimization recommendations. ✔ Manage and coordinate a distributed team of volunteers and contractors across U.S. and Ukraine time zones. ✔ Engage with the community thoughtfully, maintaining a dignity-first and culturally sensitive voice. Would be a plus: ✔ Experience in nonprofit, advocacy, or mission-driven work is a plus.
