Job Description
The Office of U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego is now accepting applications for internship opportunities in our Washington DC office for the upcoming 2026 Spring term. Interns will be expected to work in-person, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate students’ availability and interns will receive a stipend for their work.
The internship term will begin in January and conclude in May 2026. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the daily operations of a Senate office, assist with constituent services, conduct legislative research, and support staff across various issue areas.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for contributing to a team-oriented environment. Applicants with ties to Arizona are especially encouraged to apply.
