Job Description
The Office of Representative Linda Sánchez (CA-38) is hiring a Spring 2026 intern for her Whittier Office. Hours are flexible to accommodate students’ schedules and range from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A minimum commitment of 15 hours/week is required for this program.
Congressional interns in our Whittier office will answer constituent calls, assist with federal casework intake for California's 38th congressional district, process tour requests, create flyers, assist with event planning, and other district-based projects. In addition, interns will also have the opportunity of shadowing staff at community events, legislative briefings, and meetings. Working with our Whittier office team allows interns the opportunity to work closely with our constituents.

Applications will be accepted after the deadline, IF positions are still open. All submitted documents will then be reviewed by our internship selection committee and students will be notified via e-mail when decisions are rendered.
