The organization seeks a State and Local Intern to support its initiatives in government relations, membership services, and communications within the hospitality industry. This paid summer internship, based in Washington, D.C., will involve tasks such as summarizing human trafficking signage statutes, updating paid leave statutes, and tracking collective bargaining agreements. The intern will also create a database linking properties to city council members and prepare statistics on union penetration by market. Candidates should be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a strong interest in hospitality and a minimum GPA of 3.0, available for 10-12 weeks starting in June 2026.
