The Democratic Staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs seeks a paid legal intern to work with the Majority Staff during Summer 2023. This position, open to current law students, provides an opportunity to observe and work closely with Committee professional staff/counsels on a variety of policy and oversight projects related to financial services, consumer protection, housing, transit, community development, climate risk, national security, and other topics. Legal interns will engage in legal and fact research, preparation for hearings and meetings, and support with necessary administrative work.
