Job Description


The Office of Senator Adam Schiff is seeking Law Clerks to work in his Washington, D.C. office for the Summer of 2026. Duties include assisting the Senator’s judiciary team with legal and legislative research, memo drafting, oversight work, and preparing the Senator for Senate Judiciary Committee hearings and markups.

Candidates must be current law students and be able to work full-time (32-40 hours per week). Candidates must also possess strong writing and analytical skills, legal research skills, and critical thinking skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. California ties are preferred, but not required. Applicants may earn academic credit or be eligible for a Senate stipend if funding is unavailable from their law program.
