We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and mission-driven individuals to join our team as Graham Platner Summer Organizers. You’ll be spending your days in some of the most beautiful communities in the world, connecting with residents to build a movement that lasts long after the leaves turn.
THE MISSION
Our Summer Organizers are the heartbeat of our field operations. Your goal is simple: engage the unique "summer home" communities of Maine. You’ll be part Field Organizer (building our volunteer base) and part Fundraising Powerhouse (fueling our mission through high-impact networking and donor relations).
- Flexible Options: We offer both Full-Time (40 hrs/week) and Part-Time (20 hrs/week) roles.
WHERE YOU’LL BE WORKING
We are deploying organizers to Maine's iconic summer destinations, including but not limited to:
- Bar Harbor / Mount Desert Island
- Kennebunkport
- Camden / Rockport
- Ogunquit
- Boothbay Harbor
- Blue Hill
- Cape Elizabeth
- Rangeley
- Castine
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Community Connection: Knock on doors, organize house parties, set up shop at farmers' markets.
- The "Summer Circuit": Attend community events and mixers to recruit new supporters.
- Fuel the Movement: Connect with major stakeholders and seasonal residents to secure resources.
