As a Supervisory Congressional Liaison Specialist, you will plan, design, and oversee congressional engagement policies and procedures governing information dissemination functions for significant and/or controversial USCIS/DHS decisions or actions.



Duties

Help

Supervises a group of employees that provide administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work in Headquarters.

Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.

Establish guidelines and performance expectations for staff members, which are clearly communicated through the formal performance management system.

Observe workers performance, demonstrate and conduct work performance critiques.

Suggests or makes edits and revisions in documents as necessary and provides quality assurance of work products from the division.

Resolves informal complaints and grievances.

Develops work improvement plans, recommending personnel actions as necessary.

Provides advice and counsel to workers related to technical work and administrative matters.
