THE POSITION
We are seeking a Team Coordinator to support the Beyond Carbon political team and other Bloomberg Philanthropies initiatives. This role is integral to contributing to the efficiency of the team by providing support that is anticipatory, timely and organized. The successful candidate will ensure that the Program Lead and team is operating at the highest level, through enabling information sharing, smooth workflow and follow through.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Program Lead and project teams in providing day-to-day administrative, reporting and coordination support to ensure they have everything they need to deliver
Manage Program Lead’s calendar(s) in coordination with the Program Leader, including scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, anticipating needs and changing/rearranging meetings as appropriate and ensuring that any needed administrative and technological resources are available
Manage and maintain Program Lead’s expense reports
Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, ground transportation, hotels, etc.
Actively assist with projects as needed - demonstrating the ability to respond to priorities and resourcing needs as they shift over the lifecycle of our programs
Support the team with information and workflow coordination
Track and be accountable for follow-ups from meetings and events to ensure projects are on schedule and deadlines are met
Draft email correspondence, memos, briefings, presentations and recaps from meetings for a broad audience
Maintain data and project updates for internal check-ins and coordination with other Bloomberg teams
Field inquiries to appropriate team members, respond to employee and outside inquiries, and ensure timely response to urgent issues.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role in a fast-paced environment
Prior campaign or political experience
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
Be a dynamic team player that is able to maintain a sense of humor
Be able to effectively receive and apply feedback
Excellent written and verbal skills
Experience with discretion and managing confidential information
Willingness to work with a growing team in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment
This means that sometimes there will be unpredictable hours or there will be instances where the team will need to work outside of the traditional Monday through Friday, 9-to-5 structure
An interest in working effectively across various platforms (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
Experience handling data and operational reports; tech-savviness will be a plus
