Job Description
We're looking for a passionate and creative communicator to provide internal and executive communications strategy and support for Commercial Banking's (CB) Global Services (GS) teams (e.g., Client Service, Controls & Continuity Services, Fraud Prevention, Onboarding, Technology and Wholesale Lending Services).
As a member of the GS Communications team, you'll work cross-functionally to share impactful stories and promote a winning culture. You'll have the opportunity to support trailblazing executives, which includes creating communications strategies for CB and GS initiatives, helping to prepare for large-scale presentations, writing messages related to our priorities, interviewing and drafting stories for company-wide consumption, sending newsletters to organizations within CB and more.
Job responsibilities
- Support Global Services executives with communications needs, including executive messages, presentations and speaking engagement, town halls, intranet site updates and employee engagement.
- Identify key milestones to celebrate internally, generating excitement and awareness around important initiatives, celebrating wins and driving engagement.
- Use creative storytelling skills to humanize the business and tell high impact stories
- Stay up to date on communications trends and industry news, contributing insights and helping to identify opportunities to create greater impact through strategic communications while increasing efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage connectivity across other partners and communications teams.
- Track and measure results to showcase business impact
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of experience in communications.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail when developing presentations, writing and editing.
- Experience in communications in a fast-paced and matrixed environment
- Strong writing skills and ability to simplify complex subjects
- Collaborative and strategic team player who is self-motivated, resourceful and demonstrates a problem-solving approach
- Good judgement and ability to deal with sensitive/confidential matters
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Additional software skills (e.g., Photoshop, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
- Financial Services background.
