The Chase Auto Private Label Captive Finance business has more than 20 years in the captive finance business and is the largest bank-owned private label captive finance provider in the U.S. We serve as the captive finance partner to seven domestic and global auto manufacturers: Subaru, Jaguar Land Rover, Maserati, Aston Martin, McLaren, and EV partners Rivian and Fisker.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Vice President, Marketing Strategy to lead the marketing initiatives and branding efforts to achieve short- and long-term B2B goals for our Chase Auto Private Label Captive Finance Business relationships. The ideal candidate will have B2B and digital marketing expertise to be able to develop impactful marketing plans to support the business with regards to marketing/communicating new products or capabilities, development and management of sales enablement materials, supporting dealer events and managing branding, value propositions and marketing campaigns. Marketing materials will be developed for both the end clients (dealerships) and the different Private Label sales teams (~60 dealer relationship managers nationwide).
You will work closely with marketing colleagues to execute against the strategies you develop. You will also partner with Analytics to measure the impact of your marketing efforts. Many of the marketing campaigns will leverage the Salesforce Marketing Cloud technology which marketing colleagues will execute in collaboration with you.
This role will provide you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to stand-up a new marketing strategy. This includes developing product positioning, identifying vision of how marketing can increase ROE in a meaningful way, creating a measurable testing roadmap, networking across broad Auto organization and marketing COE, partnering with analytics to share and present learnings with Senior leadership. You will be responsible for leading monthly meetings with the Private Label General Managers. This position also has monthly updates/presentations to the Auto CMO and MD Dealer Product Owner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of marketing strategy for Private Labels in the dealer channel
- Strategize with Sales leadership on marketing needs
- Work with colleagues to execute against that strategy via dealer channel marketing and communication programs
- Liaise with Auto public relations team to identify opportunities for PR
- Partner with the Auto product team to help define relevant products, segmentation and campaigns to communicate to DRMs and dealers
- Help develop, build and update value proposition for the various brands
- Support reporting across initiatives and develop and present senior management presentations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required. Course work in marketing or project management is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing - Marketing functional, technical and operational knowledge important
- Experience creating and driving operational process with a major focus on attention to detail and passion for flawless execution
- Ability to identify and address program execution needs in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Exceptional communication and executive presence
- Ability to work independently as well as lead cross-functional teams is required
- Strong project management, multi-tasking, leadership skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- B2B marketing experience
- Knowledge of sales enablement strategies
- History of launching successful content engagement strategies
- Partner relationship experience
