Job Description
The organization seeks a News Writer to produce timely and engaging stories on legislation, elections, and policy issues affecting Catholics in public life, as well as Church news. This fully remote role requires candidates to be based in the Western U.S., Alaska, or Hawaii to provide evening coverage. Key responsibilities include writing daily news articles, formatting and distributing a daily newsletter, and conducting research and interviews to ensure high-quality reporting. Ideal candidates will possess strong journalism skills, knowledge of Church teachings and U.S. politics, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
