The Office of Rep. Adam Schiff seeks a Press and Digital Assistant for their Washington, DC team. This individual is responsible for contributing to the day-to-day press operations and outreach, handling interview requests, drafting releases, talking points, op-eds, and speeches, and managing the Chairman’s expansive social media portfolio.

The ideal candidate has strong verbal and writing skills, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment under deadlines, is highly collaborative, and has the ability to write engaging and compelling social media content. We’re looking for someone who wants to use the Chairman’s social media presence to make news and pushback against Republican overreach. Prior communications experience preferred. Capitol Hill experience not required.

The salary for this position starts at $55,000 and the position is eligible for transit benefits and student loan repayment assistance. This is an in-person position, with some remote work opportunities.
