The Office of Congressman Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) is seeking motivated candidates for paid Fall 2025 internships in the Washington D.C. and Leesburg District offices. The internship will run from the end of August through December. The application is open to college students as well as recent college graduates.
Qualified applicants are friendly, detail-oriented, professional, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Ties to Virginia’s Tenth District a plus.

Washington D.C. office.
This internship is an opportunity to witness the inner workings of Capitol Hill and learn about the legislative process. Interns will have the opportunity to work with the legislative, communications, and operations teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering constituent phone calls, running errands, giving tours of the Capitol, attending policy briefings and meetings, researching legislation for the legislative staff, and other duties as necessary.
Leesburg District Office.
This internship is an opportunity to witness the inner workings of the district office and gain experience working with constituent services, supporting stakeholder networks, and highlighting the Congressman’s legislative priorities in the district. Interns will have the opportunity to work with the legislative, communications, and outreach teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering constituent phone calls, connecting constituents to resources, attending meetings, and coordinating special events and district visits, and other duties as necessary.
