Job Description
Representative Josh Gottheimer seeks a dynamic DC or New Jersey based Digital Director to be a part of the communications team.
The position will manage and execute the communications and digital media functions of the office including:
- Creating social media content including graphics and videos
- Managing all social media channels and web content
- Pitching and fielding press requests
- Maintaining relationships with national and district media
- Writing press releases, op-eds, speeches, newsletters, and talking points.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 1-2 years of experience on the Hill and/or working in fast-paced media environments
- Experience producing written and visual content, including graphics and video for a variety of social media platforms
- Thoroughness and careful attention to detail
