Boeing is seeking a dynamic experienced communications professional in Chicago, IL to deliver employee-centric communications to our global and diverse employee population.

In this role, the successful applicant will partner across the team and use Boeing’s internal communications channels to tell stories about Boeing’s culture, benefits and programs.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with senior communicators to execute broad employee communications initiatives and programs

Provide strategic council to business partners and develop communication strategies around key initiatives

Write and edit materials such as feature articles, leadership messages and speeches, scripts, infographics, website and social media content, both independently and in partnership with communications colleagues

Tell compelling stories through multiple communications platforms and formats, including internal news vehicles and videos

Apply high editing and writing standards in all work

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher

Fluent in written and verbal English

3+ years' experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

3+ years' experience developing communications strategies that include executive speeches, employee communications, infographics, videos, web content and social media

3+ experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

3+ experience with PowerPoint and creating presentations

3+ years' experience working with sensitive information and safeguarding confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years' experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills

3+ years' experience with communications project management experience, either in a corporate or creative agency setting

3+ years' experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans

3+ years' experience in a previous role where meticulous attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and quality was paramount

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
