Job Description
The Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is looking for individuals to participate in a full-time, paid Press Internship this summer. If accepted, you will work closely with the communications team and gain valuable experience on Capitol Hill. Interns help coordinate logistics for press conferences in the U.S. Capitol, answer press calls, assist with media monitoring, update press lists, and compile the Senator’s daily press clips. Tasks require individuals to be detail-oriented and possess strong writing and grammar skills. Recent graduates with a communications or political science background are encouraged to apply.
