Position Overview: 


The Coca-Cola’s Summer Internship program is a 10-week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. TheGlobal Policy& SustainabilityInternwill be part of ourGlobal Policy& Sustainabilityteam within theGlobalPublicAffairs,Communications,andSustainabilityfunctionandbe responsible forassistingwith projects related to the company’s World Without Waste initiative.


Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities: 


  • Assisttheteamindeveloping andsubmittingsustainability-relateddisclosures, with a focus on our World Without Waste initiative/packaging,acrossvariousreportingplatforms,suchas CDP.
  • Supportthecoordinationandexecutionoftaskssuchaswritingofreportsandmemos,researchon legislativeandregulatoryissues,governmentoutreach,stakeholderengagementandotherprojectsas needed.
  • Helpprepareforinternalandexternalmeetings,events,workshops,andconferencesincludingdrafting briefingdocumentstoensureourteamsareprepared.
  • Communicate deadlines, events, updates, and other internship-related information to associates using internal communication platform and other tools.

Education Requirements


  • CurrentlypursuingaMaster'sDegreeinPoliticalScience,Communications,SustainabilityorrelateddisciplinewithafinalgraduationdatenoearlierthanDecember2024.

Functional Skills: 


  • Excellent oral and written communicationskills,with ability to communicate complex issues.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with a geographically spread, culturally diverse team,stakeholdersand partners.
  • Passionateabout sustainability issueswith an aptitude tolearnquickly.
  • Strong MS Word, Excel andPowerPointskills. 

$6,066 per month


Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
