Position Summary: We are seeking a creative, talented, and self-motivated individual interested in advancing the DCCC’s mission and helping to maximize its capacity to fundraise through direct mail and telemarketing communications for the 2024 cycle. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operations of the direct marketing schedule and production as well as expense management. The ideal candidate will have direct response marketing experience and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervises Direct Marketing Coordinator and helps to supervise Direct Marketing interns.
- Manages day-to-day direct marketing production.
- Helps manage extensive network of vendor partners for daily direct marketing operations.
- Approves and tracks all Direct Marketing expenses.
- Reviews and edits all fundraising deliverables at each step of the production timeline.
- Directs the internal and external vetting of all fundraising pieces.
- Monitors telemarketing campaigns through weekly monitoring sessions and check-ins.
- Maintains the approval process for all contracts with external vendors and list agreements.
- Participates in DM strategy discussions.
- Keeps record of all fundraising pieces, moving deliverables, and important communications.
- Works with targeted campaigns to support staff on direct mail strategy.
- Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements
- Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives;
- At least three years of direct response marketing experience in a political, agency or non-profit setting;
- Previous experience in political campaigns or political organization groups, such as PACs/c4s or nonprofit (preferred);
- Superior time management, planning, troubleshooting, and communications skills;
- Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and work both independently and with other partners in accomplishing goals;
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence – the awareness, knowledge and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant and productive ways;
- Personal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability;
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels.
