This position will require onsite work at our Washington, DC location, and provides a broad range of administrative support and requires excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, as well as the ability to interact confidentially with all levels of management.

Role and Impact:
Provide proactive and comprehensive administrative support a the Corporate Vice President.
Manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs and ensure executive’s time is optimized for maximum efficiency.
Act as liaison between executive and internal/external stakeholders.
Support long-term calendar planning and strategy for business operating rhythm.
Handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
Collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals.
Make high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company.
Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Facilitate program meetings, executive meetings, and customer visits.
Operate independently to meet requirements of leadership team and offering expertise to assist other functions within organization.
Assist events and activities of major organization initiatives.
Report generation and compilation.
Proactively manage calendar and travel.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of professional executive level administrative support in a corporate setting.
Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
Computer skills required include expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel), and intranet/internet proficiency.
Proactive, highly motivated and adaptable, with excellent organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple tasks, changing needs, and competing priorities across a geographically dispersed team.
Experience interfacing with executive level internal and external contacts with autonomy.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and proven success in organizing, prioritizing, and completing assigned responsibilities.
Ability to efficiently coordinate Outlook calendar, conference call, and shared link applications.
Experience coordinating both on and off-site meetings and/or events.
Demonstrated experience handling travel arrangements for an executive
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman’s specific systems (SAP, Concur, Facilities requests, IBUY, etc.).
Knowledge of NGC resources, policies, and procedures.
Experience and proficiency with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system.
