Democratic Senator seeks an Operations Assistant for his Washington, D.C. office. Qualified applicants should be motivated and resourceful self-starters, detail-oriented, and organized multi-taskers, with a drive to meet team needs in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to exercise good judgment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing vouchers, maintenance of office space and supplies, recruiting and supervising interns, emergency preparedness planning, assisting with staff travel arrangements, maintenance of the office archives, serving as liaison to Senate administrative departments, and assistance with special projects as assigned. This individual will work closely with senior staff to facilitate successful office operations. Prior Hill or operations experience is preferred, but not required.
