Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) seeks a Military and Veterans Services Representative based in his Atlanta office to work directly with Georgia's servicemembers, veterans, and their families as they navigate federal agencies and programs. Primary responsibilities include: maintaining a robust Military and VA casework portfolio; serving as a liaison between Georgia's servicemembers, veterans, and their families and federal agencies; representing the Senator throughout the state of Georgia; and performing additional duties as assigned. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented; have excellent writing and oral communication skills; and be dependable, proactive and comfortable working collaboratively with a close-knit team. Candidates for this position should have knowledge of federal and state programs for military servicemembers and veterans as well as familiarity with key Georgia organizations that serve veterans and military members. The starting annual salary for this position is $55,000 with eligibility for Senate benefits.
