Summary

This position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Administration (OA), White House Office of the CFO (OCFO), Travel and Events Division. The Travel and Events Division supports all aspects of travel and event requirements for the White House Office, the Office of the Vice President, and staff and component travel. The incumbent oversees systems and processes that support internal and external customers, including other elements of the Travel and Events Division.


Duties

As a Travel Systems Manager, GS-0501-13, your typical work assignments may include the following:


* Develops and implements the travel services help desk processes and procedures, including coordination and tracking of customer inquiries for dashboard reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.


* Updates and maintains routing lists used to maintain flow of documents to the appropriate approving official.


* Oversees the pre-payment and post-payment audit program of EOP traveler documents.


* Ensures that all sampled travel related payments to travelers are accurate.


* Serves as POC for problems and questions on the system regarding software use, entitlements, transaction problems and payment problems.


* Oversees EOP's international services operations by providing visa guidance and ensuring effective communications with the Department of State and foreign Embassies, as required.
