Seeking an Energy Policy Analyst to support the Headquarters of the Air Force, Civil Engineer Directorate. This position will coordinate, develop and maintain energy governance documents and procedures. Primary work location is at the Pentagon in Washington DC.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, develop, and maintain energy governance documents and procedures, perform trend analysis to identify areas of concern, and ensure current compliance and understanding of industry best practices and standards.
  • Provide detailed updates to SAF/HAF leadership, OSD, and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums through coordinating, developing, and delivering analysis and recommendations on energy programing policy, as well as creating associated meeting materials.
  • Develop, coordinate, and track energy resilience program initiatives to include energy related exercise and facility energy vulnerability assessments.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience with DoD or commercial energy programs and policy.
  • Ability to analyze legislative direction, DoD policy and processes, and propose improvements/solutions – both technically and administratively (5+ years)
  • Requires a Secret clearance.
