Job Description
Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) seeks a digital intern to be based in his Washington, DC, office. The intern will work closely with Senator Booker’s video team. Responsibilities include: editing video deliverables in cross-platform formats; assisting in shooting, selecting, and editing photos; assisting with internal file organization; assisting in setting up lighting and audio equipment, including operating cameras; and working with Senator Booker’s digital and communications teams, often on tight deadlines. The intern will gain experience in all phases of media production, from conceptual brainstorms and pre-production, to filming, post production editing, and some motion-graphics creation. A strong understanding of the principles and practice of video editing is required, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, is a plus.
