As a strategy & communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s reputation. The Global Technology team at the News Corp is looking for a strategy & communications consultant, who will be in charge of developing whitepapers, long range plans, strategic plans & financial decks for the C-level audiences. This role will be expected to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials by collaborating with multiple stakeholders across different business units and Global Technology leadership teams. An IT consulting background is highly preferred for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate creative communication strategies for internal and external audiences

  • Provide insight to the development of collateral which will drive organizational alignment

  • Develop and execute communications and stakeholder engagement strategies to promote the strategic roadmap

  • Write whitepapers and digital newsletters for internal use

  • Ensure the alignment of messages and distributed content with the overarching strategy communications plan

  • Collaborate with the Global Technology leadership team to develop long-range plans & budget decks for C-level executives.

  • Enable Leadership to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive change in the organization

  • Apply your track record for developing strong internal working relationships at a senior leadership level, and influence without formal direct authority.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Advanced degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years progressive experience in executive communications, with understanding how to develop strategy.

  • Management consulting experience is highly preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and present information in a clear and concise way to a variety of audiences.

  • Experience in building Comms strategy for the Tech Organization would be a plus.

  • Experience in proofing and editing speeches, white papers, business reviews, and other communications for internal and external use

  • Experience in scoping and shaping project engagements.

  • Experience in the development and implementation of initiatives from strategy through to execution.

  • Experience managing and working with teams across locations, experience working in a global organization is preferred.

  • Excellent consultative, relationship management, influencing and facilitation skills.

  • Superb problem solving skills; logical and analytical thinker.

  • Strong executive presence.

  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

  • Demonstrated track record of contributing both strategically and tactically at a consistently high level

Pay Range: 150,000 - 180,000
