Compensation: Salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000

What are we looking for?
The Senior Manager of Advocacy will play a key role in managing the operations of WorkMoney’s advocacy program, and in particular, our political program, specifically helping to coordinate partnerships, staff, and vendors in service of achieving our electoral program goals in 2022 and beyond. The Senior Manager of Advocacy will report to the Chief Impact Officer/General Counsel, but will work across teams at WorkMoney and have the opportunity to work directly with external partners. We are looking for someone who possesses superior project management skills, political judgment and experience, as well as an understanding of how to build power for working people. A successful candidate will be meticulous with the details, even in a fast paced environment, adaptable, and a strong communicator.
Responsibilities
Overall Project Management
- Support the Chief Impact Officer in the planning and execution of advocacy and political programs, including coordinating staff across WorkMoney teams to meet objectives and targets
- Manage political program vendor relationships
- Track objectives, analyze results, and provide regular updates and reporting on WorkMoney’s electoral program
- Assist with compliance tracking and political team budget tracking
- Create and manage a process to ensure advocacy and political program information can be shared in an easy way for the Board, Development team, and others
Ownership of Partnership Program
- Manage relationships and track day-to-day interactions with external national and state partnerships key to the electoral program’s success
- Support the Chief Impact Officer in partnership strategy development
- Coordinate technical components of partnerships, including data management and tracking objectives
- Assess and report on partnership impact
Must Haves
- 3+ years of partnership management experience, field or campaign management, or comparable project management experience
- Strong familiarity with political campaigns and best practices
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly collaborative approach, but also capable of independently managing time and tasks
- Strong communicator with experience engaging stakeholders across a wide variety of interests and political persuasions
- Experience and comfort in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly, grace under pressure
- Ability to lead and manage external vendors and stakeholders involved in political program
- Excellent judgment and decision making, and the ability to manage up when needed and laterally
- A strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and an equitable future
Nice to Haves
- Experience in managing independent expenditure campaigns
- Election compliance experience
- Startup experience

The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $115,000 annually based on experience.
