Job Title: Assistant, Community Relations
Department: Community Relations
Reports To: Director, Community Relations
Status: Nonexempt
Primary Objective: Responsible for supporting the Seattle Mariners Community Relations and Mariners Care Foundation team in implementing day to day functions of the work, community activations and appearances, and gameday activities.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with in-kind donation fulfillment including ticket distribution, packaging, and shipping of requested items
- Provide staffing support and assist in implementation of community events, player, staff and Mariner Moose appearances, and community activations
- Respond to and/or redirect inbound email inquiries
- Support Mariners Care fundraising activities including game day 50/50 raffles and auctions
- Greet and host gameday guests and, as needed, support guest experience during in ballpark experiences including batting practice
- Other duties and activities as assigned
- Review business processes and propose process improvements.
- Uphold an extraordinary level of customer service with all internal and external clients.
- Always represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Recent completion of Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of relevant work experience or current enrollment at an accredited 2 or 4 year college or university pursuing a certification or degree required.
- Spanish/ Bilingual a plus.

The anticipated range of base compensation for this role is $ 20.00-$23.00 USD per hour
