Job Description
U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff & Correspondence Assistant for his Washington, DC office. Primary responsibilities include managing incoming phone calls and voicemails, responding to constituent inquiries and requests for assistance, and supporting general administrative functions. This position may also serve as a back-up driver for the Senator; therefore, applicants must have access to a car and a clean driving record. The Staff Assistant & Correspondence Assistant will work closely with the Correspondence and Publishing Manager to help manage the Senator’s legislative mail and other public-facing correspondence. Ideal candidates will be dependable, proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential. Georgia ties are a plus.
