**OVERVIEW**

We are searching for a versatile content manager who’s as comfortable as a cat lying in a sun spot regardless of platform. This role combines communications strategy, tactical planning, content creation including social media posts, email blasts, web content, and video scripts.


Our Content Manager will feel comfortable taking and running with ideas for campaigns, working with our project manager to develop and manage content calendars, and providing creative direction to our graphic design team and our video production team to ensure deadlines are met and quality of work.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary point person for all things content creation for all projects, accounts, and campaigns (working with agency owner and strategist to create long-term content plans for clients, that take into account search engine analytics and market research
  • Research, source, and curate content, as needed (i.e., news articles, photos, and videos)
  • Orchestrate day-to-day content in the form of photos, videos, and GIFs to publish across our social media channels
  • Work with the project manager to develop and manage content calendars (in ClickUp and Google Sheets)
  • Review long-form content pieces for accuracy, ensure they are compelling and engaging, and make decisions whether or not a piece of content fits requirements and is worth running (according to campaign goals)
  • Update client websites content with blog posts, white papers, news articles, and press releases
  • Build landing pages and write landing page conversion copy, as necessary to build subscriber lists
  • Create YouTube channels and ensure content is consistent with client branding, write SEO-friendly copy for video descriptions, and update channels as necessary
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
  • Apply SEO best practices
  • Write email blasts
  • Write calls-to-action for email copy, landing pages, and SMS/text messaging
  • Work with our graphic designers and our video production team to ensure a smooth workflow

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist as needed in other areas of content production ( copywriting, copy editing, and script writing are all pluses)

Helpful

  • Short-form video script writing
  • Political, public affairs, or advocacy work experience
  • Passionate and curious about environmental issues and fighting climate change
  • ClickUp
  • Google Suite and Dropbox
  • Hootsuite, or other social media scheduling software
  • Understanding of WordPress
  • Familiar with MailChimp, ConvertKit, or like email platform
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Familiarity with Zapier

**REQUIREMENTS**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with B2B marketing and/or advocacy digital marketing
  • Must be available 10-20 hours per week
  • Three samples of your work

Salary: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
