Description: Associate for a Political Action Committee based in New York City

Organization: Tri-State Maxed-Out Womens PAC (TSMOW PAC)

Location: New York, NY. Currently, the position is conducted in-person, remotely and via Zoom.

Rate: $60,000- $65,000

Organization Description: Founded in 2011, Tri-State Maxed-Out Womens PAC (TSMOW PAC) is a female-led grassroots organization that supports and endorses pro-choice, viable, Democratic women running for U.S. Congress, both the House and U.S Senate. Since its establishment, the PAC membership has grown to over 300 politically active, Democratic women members from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, South Florida and several national members and soon Southern California. The organization’s mission is to increase the number of women in federal office. The PAC has contributed over $16 M to viable Democratic women candidates. Post-COVID, the PAC’s yearly programming is hybrid (in-person and zoom). The programming includes issue forums with high-profile guest speakers, incumbent elected officials, and new candidates running for office. Events include issues forums with hosted briefings from Washington insiders discussing Ca[itol Hill updates. The PAC also hosts "Meets and Greets'' for candidates for their members. The PAC's 2024 vision is to keep Democrats in the majority in both the House of Representatives. the U.S. Senate and The White House.

Job Description: Immediate Hiring - TSMOW PAC is seeking a full-time associate. The associate will conduct a wide range of campaign and administrative tasks in expanding the fundraising and the organization of the PAC including;

*Support fundraising activity, membership development

*Associate will report directly to the President;

*Organize in setting up issues forums with high profile speakers and candidate events

  • Fundraising outreach
  • Tracking the PAC members and donors contributions, PAC candidate contributions
  • Composing and preparing correspondence with campaigns
  • Drafting meeting agendas and memos and setting up Zoom meetings
  • Managing the President’s personal and PAC calendars, quarterly fundraising and expense reports
  • Researching women candidates running for federal office, and potentially viable new Democratic women candidates and campaigns.
  • Communicating directly, and on behalf of the President with the executive board, board members, donors, guests, and campaign staff
  • This position will assist the development of the Young Women Lead division including events encouraging women
  • ages 18-35 years in getting involved in the political process.
  • Staffing and overseeing details of PAC events

An ideal and successful candidate is proactive, creative, organized, able to work independently on projects (from conception to completion), able to handle matters expeditiously, very attentive to detail, must be able to multitask, and work under pressure, and has flexible working hours. This position has real opportunity for someone to grow with this exciting ,well- known organization.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Political Science, or Public Policy, and or experience in fundraising, political campaigns
  • Lives in the New York area
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Have experience and a strong interest in the U.S. political process, political campaigns, and fundraising
  • Other experience in graphics, marketing and or communications are welcome.
  • Proficient in utilizing Zoom, Google Drive (Docs, Spreadsheet, PowerPoint), and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF conversion.
