About Street Level Campaigns
Street Level Strategy, LLC a political and public affairs consulting firm specializing in grassroots mobilization and coalition building for political campaigns, non-profits, trade associations, and corporate clients, is seeking experienced canvassers for campaigns across Southern California. Canvassers are primarily responsible for conducting outreach to residents and voters via door to door canvassing and by phone.
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated door-to-door canvassers to work on a mayoral race in San Francisco that will commence in July 2024. Employment hours are 2:00p-6:00p Monday-Wednesday and 10:00-7:00 Saturday and Sunday. This is a seasonal, temporary position.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Previous organizing, canvassing, or civic engagement experience preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Interest in social and political issues
- Self-motivated and able to set and reach personal goals
- Good time-management skills
- Good judgment
- Ability to learn new information and topics quickly
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Bilingual candidates are preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Starting pay is $25.00/hour with opportunity for upward mobility within the company.
Driving stipend provided for drivers.
