Director of Media Affairs  

The Director of Media Affairs will lead our strategic communications and media booking arm. Candidates who want to leverage their rolodex of media contacts to promote exciting, complex, and even controversial ideas and make them resonate with the public should apply.

This position features many opportunities for the right candidate to oversee the flow of communication between our firm and the media, further fostering relationships with stakeholders, and be rewarded for amplifying our messaging. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and benefits including PTO, healthcare, and profit sharing.

This role is in-person. Local or willing-to-relocate candidates only.

Required skills:

  • Desire and ability to implement strategic communications plans
  • Obtains a strong pulse on the daily news cycle
  • Experienced with media coaching
  • Ability to pitch surrogates (clients and partners at the firm) as subject matter experts
  • Experienced developing talking points, press releases and pitches, op-eds
  • Ability to engage with media bookers in a hawkish and timely manner
  • Obtains a bountiful rolodex of nurtured media relationships
